Why Do You Need a Wisconsin DUI Lawyer?

If you hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and drive for a living, an arrest for drunk-driving in WI can have disastrous consequences.  A conviction can cost you your job.  Penalties include:

  • CDL revocation for a term of one year or life, even if the offense occurred in a private vehicle.
  • CDL occupational permits are abolished.
  • Existing CDL occupational permits are cancelled.

Wisconsin drunk-driving laws follow federal mandates for cases involving CDL drivers, and the effects of a conviction follow you for life.  If you are facing a Wisconsin OWI or DUI, you need legal representation immediately.  Time is of the essence because you have only 10 days to challenge an administrative suspension, or a refusal allegation may apply to you.

A qualified Wisconsin DUI lawyer can help you navigate the complex laws so you can resolve your case with optimal results.  When you are a CDL driver, a drunk-driving charge is not just a legal issue; it is an issue that affects your family, life and future.

Hire Wisconsin DUI/OWI defense attorney Andrew Mishlove to fight your drunk-driving defense. As one of the leading DUI OWI law firms in Wisconsin, he can mount the strongest possible defense.

This gentleman was found quite drunk seated in the driver's seat of his car. A citizen witness had reported that the car was driving erratically. A police lieutenant stated that he saw Pav driving the car. Police dispatch records, however, indicated that the lieutenant arrived at the scene five minutes after the car was parked. Other witnesses reported a different driver. Attorney Mishlove tried the case to a jury and Pav was found Not Guilty. We saved him from a long jail sentence and irreparable damage to his family
